It's almost the official, October 8th release day for A Halloween Tail, but you can still pre-order a copy with a 20% discount from JMS Books!

Good things come in strange packages.

Lionel Baker knows his life is heavy on the crazy. With an unused degree in IT, student loan debt his job as waiter barely covers, and a history of unfortunate dating choices, he pushes back with all the sass and snark he can muster. With the dreaded, family gathering season approaching, Halloween is the perfect time to find his next, new boyfriend before his dragon of an aunt decides to play matchmaker.

But when his older sister guilts him into taking his niece Trick-or-Treating rather than heading to the bar, and insists he wears her idea of a family-friendly costume, Lionel is sure he’s lost his window of opportunity. Then he meets Kyle. Kyle’s looking for his nephew who has run off in the crowd but finds Lionel instead. Does fate have a trick or a treat in store for them?

Coming Soon - A Halloween Tail!

Time flies. That's all I can say. Anyone else out there feeling that the start of fall is bringing with it an entire handbasket of busy? I could share all the crazy that's been happening Chez Munder, but I'd rather trumpet out some NEW RELEASE NEWS!!

Yes! I'm excited.

Coming in October 2022: A HALLOWEEN TAIL

I loved revisiting this short, and while originally offered by another publisher, Lionel's tale has been rewritten and re-edited with an expanded word count for your enjoyment.

Guess who’s coming to JMS Books?

Yep. Two of my favorite couples, Nick Davros and John Turner from 3rd Times the Charm, and Grant Singer and Craig Brower from Stormy Weather,  will soon be back in publication,  revised and expanded to novella length, and available at JMS Books!

Many of you know I was first published in 2007. More than a few years before what we could call the “big boom” in MM popularity. A lot of my early work was shorter stories published in anthology format which often have a lifespan of only a few years before rights return to the various authors. In this case, both of the stories have been out of print and unavailable since 2013.

One of the most difficult challenges I’ve faced with losing my sight is figuring out how to move from the writer I was—my skills, process, and abilities— to the writer I am now. My desire to share the stories hasn’t changed, but the rest of it? I’ll be honest, it’s a challenge. Everything I used to do visually I now have to learn how to do… another way.

As part of the learning process, I’ve tried an assortment of accessibility tool and software. What better way to figure things out than with stories and characters I already love and are familiar with? Even more fun is the ability to tell the story better while I’m there. Man, I love second chances. Is anyone surprised I ended up expanding these guys from short story to novella length?

I’ll be sharing more info as it gets closer to their publication dates, but I hope you’ll be as happy as I am to welcome Nick & John and Grant & Craig back to publication. In the meantime, stop by the JMS Book site and pick up a new favorite to read while we wait.
